Can you tell us about One Pound Meals? When and how did it come about?
It was a game i used to play at home for fun, "what cool stuff can you make for £1?" I quite liked the mathematical side of it and solving problems to get under the £1 budget. I was doing it for years, and then one day i decided to post a few on Instagram...
What can we expect from your new cookbook and when does it launch?
Book 3 (Super-Easy One Pound Meals) is all about simplifying recipes and getting people back into week day cooking. By designing the recipes to use only 1 pot, 1 pan or 1 tray, you can make a delicious meal really quickly and with minimal washing up.
What do you think makes for a good product/design, especially for the kitchen?
I prefer clean lines with a simple and durable robust design. Delicate and fragile design has no place in my kitchen, I need to feel confident that I can cook at a fast pace without fear of breaking anything.
How do you use Falcon in the kitchen?
I like to serve my food in the middle of table, so the Serving Tray or Baking Pans from the Bake Set and Pie Dishes are all perfect, you can go straight from the oven to the table and it looks really cool.
What are you cooking this Summer?
I'm always cooking pizzas, I think I might be a bit obsessed, so I guess I'll be experimenting with some summer versions like creme fraiche and griddled courgette or something along those lines until I get it perfect.
