CABIN HIDEAWAYS FOR THE SOUL

At Cabü, guests can relax and re-boot from a cosy one-bedroom cabin, to a three-bedroom cabin at either location; Cabü by the Sea, Kent and Cabü by the Lakes, Ireland.

Guests love to start their day with a coffee or brew in a Falcon mug…

Can you tell us a bit about Cabü?

Cabü by the Sea is a rural seaside escape which houses 19 beautifully designed timber cabins, with scandi inspired interiors, situated just a short walk from the shore lines of St Mary’s Bay.
Cabü by the Lakes lies deep within the Killykeen Forest in Cavan, with 28 luxury and eco-conscious cabins scattered amongst the woodland, sitting directly on the shores of Lough Oughter, the centre of Ireland’s lake district.
All Cabü cabins are self-catered, with fully equipped kitchens including a selection of gorgeous Falcon Enamel Wares to match the scandi inspired traditional cabins.
We also have two very exciting locations opening soon, Cabü on the Rocks in Cornwall and Cabü in the Cotswolds.

What made you decide to open a group of eco-friendly cabin hideaways?

We wanted to fill the gap of luxury holiday homes, where you can surround yourself in nature with little impact on the world. Our first location started with Cabü by the Sea which opened in May 2019, and our second location was Cabü by the Lakes which opened in August 2020.

You use Falcon enamelware throughout your cabins. What’s your favourite product and what do you use it for?
Our guests love to enjoy slow mornings at Cabü Cabins with a coffee or a brew with Falcon’s mug. It is perfect for guests to enjoy from bed or their private terrace.

Are there any other local companies you'd like to shout about? Where do you usually eat, drink, and source ingredients in your local area?

Cabü by the Sea has a selection of local cafes and pubs nearby. We’d recommend The Pilot Inn which serves delicious fish and chips on the seafront. Stop off at Marshmallow Bakery too for fresh, local bakes.

Cabü by the Lakes, Ireland is a little more secluded, but it does have some interesting experiences within an hour’s drive.
We’d recommend Cuilcagh Mountain Park – Stairway to Heaven and Cavan Burren Park Walking Trails

Both Cabü by the Sea and Cabü by the Lakes also have an on-site lifestyle store called Cabü Corner, where we stock local produce, fresh groceries and bakery items for guests to purchase during their stays. Also stocked in Cabü Corner is a range of Falcon Enamelware which guests often love to purchase after experiencing them in their cabins during their stay.
