Operations & Commercial Lead – Full time.
Falcon Enamelware has been an icon of British home life since the 1920s. Now the classic kitchenware brand has been revitalised for the 21st century.
We are growing fast, expanding internationally and need an ambitious Operations & Commercial Lead to work directly with the General Manager in bringing the business to its full potential.
You will be a key part in a small, growing company and be responsible for managing the factory orders and oversee efficiency in all aspects of operations, as specified by the General Manager. You must be willing to manage a wide range of commercial and operational roles and report to the General Manager and Board of Directors as necessary.
Responsibilities within your role:
- Supply chain management & optimisation
You will be responsible for the management and optimisation of our stock, by working closely with suppliers and ensuring stock stability through co-ordinated sales projections. You will also be responsible for facilitating any new product development.
- Sales analysis
You will be required to independently compile and analyse sales information as requested by the General Manager to report to the Board.
- Pricing, strategy and negotiations
Assist with the General Manager in negotiating costs with our suppliers. You will be responsible for reviewing prices on a regular basis and monitoring competition.
Assess performance and research the best deal for our UK based warehouse and delivery services and any future overseas distribution.
- Operations management
You will be required to assist with day-to-day tasks in growing and developing our small but rapidly expanding team. In addition to presenting observations and analytical findings to the General Manager you will also prepare materials for the Board of Directors.
You have the drive and enthusiasm to work to deadlines and under pressure, be self-sufficient when working on tasks on your own, and thrive working amongst a small team.
You are passionate about design and love our products.
You should be able to translate finer details into a wider spectrum.
You should be good with numbers, and technically and practically minded.
You should be proficient at Excel and knowledge of Xero accounting software is preferable.
